Dan started all 89 games played for Mount Saint Mary's College as a 1,000 point scorer while named Captain in his senior season. For his career, Dan shot 38% from beyond the arc. A few standout moments include Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week. As a Freshman, Dan led the team in 3-point field goals made, 3-point percentage w/ 41.5%, minutes played at 33.4 and second in scoring with an average of 11.5 ppg. In Dan's Sophomore year, he started all 25 games, team leader in points, team leader in rebounds per game, team leader in minutes played. As a Junior, Dan was limited to 13 games due to injury. Dan still finished the season as team leader in field goal percentage 47% and rebounds per game w/ 8.1 and was second on the team in scoring. In Dan's senior season, he started all 26 games, averaging 11.7 ppg, 5.8 rebounds, shot 37% from beyond the arc, with 6 career double doubles.
At Sachem East High School, Dan completed 3 years of Varsity basketball, named All League and Captain in his Senior season.
